ESOL courses

If your first language is not English, then an ESOL course is the one for you.
At Global Skills , ESOL courses are offered at Entry 1, 2, 3 and Level 1, which is the equivalent of Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate.
In these courses you will have intensive practice in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
At the end of each course you will take the City and Guilds Skills for Life exam.

Literacy courses

If you are a fluent English speaker but want to improve your reading, writing, spelling and grammar, then a Literacy course is suitable for you.

At Global Skills we offer Literacy courses at Entry 1, 2, 3 and Level 1.

In these courses you will have the opportunity to:

• improve your reading and writing
• improve your spelling, punctuation and grammar
• get help with writing letters and form filling
• practice speaking and take part in discussions
• learn how to study
• use computers and develop IT skills
