Information, Advice, and Guidance at Global Skills Training
At Global Skills Training, we are committed to providing comprehensive Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) services to all our applicants and learners. Our aim is to empower individuals with the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their career and learning pathways.
Our Approach
Our IAG activities are designed to assist individuals in exploring various opportunities available to them, whether it be in learning or work. We believe in offering free and impartial guidance to help individuals navigate through different aspects of their lives, from career choices to personal issues such as housing, benefits, debt, childcare, and health.
Embedded within Our Programmes
IAG is seamlessly integrated into our programmes at Global Skills Training, ensuring that individuals receive support at every stage of their journey:
1. Part of the Application Process: We assist applicants in making the right choices of suitable training programmes and refer those who do not meet eligibility or entry requirements.
2. Commencement of Programmes: Comprehensive information is provided at Induction, along with initial assessments to tailor individual learning plans.
3. During Training: Ongoing guidance is provided to retain learners on programmes and to give them the best opportunity to complete their qualifications/framework.
4. Exit Support: On exit from our programmes, we support learners to progress into relevant employment, higher education, or further career advancement opportunities.
